Trinka,

Are these the droids you're looking for?

Those are kind of the droids I'm looking for it's true.
No sign of the frame today but BC might not call until they have fitted the headset & brakes. I still have to wait for a cheque to clear so I really shouldn't get impatient.

I have v-brakes on order but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to adjusting/setting up and really prefer center pull at the end of the day.

I could also nix the cost of the v-brakes by using the center pulls I have on the hack.:biggrin:

Hmmm. I find V-brakes quite easy to set up, but cantis have about 5 axes of adjustment for me to get wrong  I can usually achieve a sound like a cat with its tail stuck in a toaster, combined with the decelerative properties of a bar of soap in the bath, gripped with teflon gloves.

Dom v brakes piece o' pi---oh, this is 'tea', piece o' (tea and) cake to set up compared to cantis! But yes the saving money might be worth while, depending on how much said on-order brakes cost?

This has been my experience with v-brakes thus far.:laugh:

TBH If I start with the v-s' I can always swap to the center pulls if I can't cope. There you go Radius, a good reason to come round and help me out.
