Ah, so it's go-faster blue for phone boxes...

Yes, pillar box red it was, and in fact the same red as the much swifter Challenge trike, and the estate agent sign Pete photographed it next to the previous week.... The estate agent sign wasn't moving all that fast either (although in this wind, it might be now...)

Is not that a conveyance?

(as Estate Agents do Conveyancing)

it is quite windy and chilly today, so I am putting my coat on

Can you activate the sprinkler system and declare rain has stopped play (assuming you are indoors?)

No sprinklers...

They've gone now, the ball fell apart. I only got hit three times in all.

Bit windy in this neck of the woods today (and no, that's nowt to do with me or what I had for dinner), but tomorrow should be better.

I think I will have a pootling around the house day, after my busy week. It is sunny here, but with a strong cold wind.

Angel, I printed off the link you gave to the Raleigh Metro. Funds do not allow for the purchase of a new bike, but I might look out for a second-hand one.

Tea?

I need to tidy the flat up, it looks like a bomb has hit it.
The Rat is looking very seductive, on the other hand the weather doesn't look too favourable.

So my dilemma is, do the washing up etc, or go out and risk getting soaked?

Yes, definitely a dilemma.

I think I would wash up, and then go out on the bike. Then if you get wet, you can come back, have hot drink, a hot bath, and relax without thinking about washing up. (also means there will be a clean mug for your Tea).
