One of the cats seems to think I am lonely in the bedroom, he goes to sleep at the foot of the bed, (on the floor) and starts snoring. :becool:

Hope you're feeling better today Speich'

I get all three cats on the bed regularly now, if it's cold they snuggle up and pin me in, if it's warm I get a bit more room.

That sounds like an excellent weekend Cookiemonster. I will admit it appeals more than a wet and windy Oldham.

Just a bit :becool:

Has no one else noticed?

All the puddles on the floor, the wet cycling shirts on the radiator, and the soggy shoes making a particular pong? (and the damp patch on the sofa).

Who's been cycling in the rain? :becool:

Not us, well not much. We were dry by the time we got home:thumbsup:. And a warming mug of tea at Arch's at the end was just the ticket.

Unfortunately not. ;) This is over a week now that I have had a sore throat and it is now developing into a nasty cough. I will be going to the GP tomorrow. They are usually good at letting patients see someone the same day, Duty Doctor, or Triage nurse.

It is a ****** of bad timing, as I am supposed to be continuing my work experience tomorrow. But I am not well enough to work eight hours with students, also their families and carers would not want me to pass on my germs.

(I could of-course go and see TheDoctor, would he just prescribe Tea?)

You'd be more than welcome anytime, Speicher.
I would prescribe my dad's cold cure, which is a cup containing a chunk of lemon, a spoon of honey, a generous slug of whisk(e)y and some hot (not boiling) water. Repeat as necessary.;)
