Goodness me it is quiet in here this evening.

To make amends for this morning's fracas with the coffee, I have especially procured some specialiteas.

Lhasa Apso
Bichon Frisé
Shih Tzu

I have tried the first one and it tastes a bit like tree bark. Would someone else like to take the lead, and try them?

You've been quite dogged, tracking those down.

I'm officially a wicked Auntie. On the way home from Oli's christening party last weekend, I was joking about how tipsy my sister was, and saying to Oli "What does Mummy drink? Wine!" The first time I asked the question and he answered "wine!", it was hilarious. Anyway, my sister just rang. Someone gave her some clothes they could no longer get into, and she said to Oli, I'm going to buy Lucy some wine as a thankyou" and Oli said "No. Mummy wine!"

Goodness! That's some late Tea?-loading!

First brew of the day on the go here, and the pot's still warm if anyone wants a cup.
The weather is grim. Doubt I'll be out riding this weekend, more like fettling in the bikecave. Have just fitted some new pedals, clips and straps to the fixed though, and it's looking rather nice.

Sun's out here now, although it was wet when I went along to the lock up this morning. I'm hoping tomorrow will be the better day, and I can go out for a long ride. Anyway, I've retrieved the moustache bars for my Galaxy, and this afternoon I will measure them properly to see what shifters will fit, and untape them to swap them onto my stump stem. Slight moment when I realised I'd undone the quill so much that little block had been left behind in the headtube, but then I remembered I could fish for it with the long bolt out of the quill...

Just having a cuppa, and will head off soon. ish...

I was pleased with myself for working it out. I have to take any tools I need to the lockup, so it's not like being in the shed at home where you can mackle something up out of a bent coathanger....

So, you reckon you'll make up it for the 13th? ;)

Aye, I'm pretty much a certainty, may have my girlfriend in tow, and I'll try hassling Dalestar too (he's fed up of my "gentle hills" in the Peak District ;)).

Excellent! The route I have planned is very gentle, in the hill department....
