I was watching the Dauphine Liberé last night. The commentator was not very nice at all. He described Mr Grabsch as "like something bred in Hereford". Wot I want to know is, what is wrong with Hereford?

(Mr Grabsch was wearing white shorts and top, and might possibly be described as strongly built.)

Afternoon all!

55 miles yesterday!

And there I was, sitting on a bench in Elvington, minding my own business, thinking how nice it was that there was a fete on, and how it was a shame the scout band had to have a glockenspiel in it, and shame it's all on not next week when I'll have a gang with me, when who should appear in front of me but Uncle Phil, who'd been co-opted in to provide trombone support.

Good thing too, or I wouldn't have found out that the church hall was doing tea and cake....

Is the kettle on?

Things are good, just been having a technological nightmare and have been screaming around trying to update my operating system etc, just to get the new modem to work.

Have I missed much?

I will return later for MY maltesers.

I am thinking I need new glasses. Every time I see that thread about big tellies, I think it says big teddies.;)
