TheDoctor admits to not having the foggiest!
Get thee to a medic. And you, tdr1nka, ought to maybe give the dark delights of alcohol another bash
Hot Whiskey with Lemon sorts most of lifes problems IMHO.
My condolences and sympathies to those not feeling well.
I'm sorry to have to report, though, that I myself am in the best of health, the sun is shining, my fixie frame is finally powder-coated and ready to be collected, and the network at work is running sweetly this morning, hence my ability to communicate with you all.
My employer has adopted the swarm-of-locusts approach to PAT testing. I arrived this morning to find the office taken over by four large geordies taking the place apart and testing everything with a plug on. Happily this included the new coffee maker that one of our departing students gave us as a gift, so we can now use it and I can report that it produces excellent coffee.
I have seen the Triage Nurse, she has diagnosed a "Drug Eruption".
No further medicine prescribed, in case I am allergic to it. She says to keep cool, and use Calomine lotion, it might take ten days to clear up.
My internal microchip for illnesses will decide to multiply this by a factor of three, I think, cos that's what it normally does. So, who is going to be at home a lot with plenty of time to watch the Tour?
Tea? oh yes, that is supposed to help you cool down. or iced Tea?
Hooray! I'm still lurgy riddled and just trying to sort out today's school cycling sessions with regard to the heat. It might not be a good day to have twelve kids out in a sun trap of a playground for an hour. Phew! It's a scorcher!
I dried a couple of pillow cases (spinner drier has gone west) by hanging them in the window, they were dry in minutes! Have left the duvet cover hanging over two airers, hoping it doesn't drip...
Sorry to hear about all the lurgy. Like Uncle Phil, I'm afraid I'm perfectly fit..
If I felt like going swimming, I could have the pool to myself in about five minutes flat. When people see my splodgey legs!
Well they are usually a bit splodgey, but not this bad. Fortunately I have no splodges on my face, ha ha, except of course the one on the end of my nose!
If you are in Fossgate, no 17 IIRC, a shop called "Give a dog a bone" is your local stockists. Not suggesting you buy them, but you could see them in the wool as it were!
I kept trying to think about taking a photo of the knitted cakes (at teddy's tea party) in the window of the Charity shop, but it is awkward to get a good shot. I would either get the reflection of me in the window, or the back of the teddies heads!
