Oh, I know that shop - it's the sort of place I go in and like everything, but can't afford any of it...

Would be good to see them in the flesh though...

D'oh! I'm thinking of Pacers. They were green and white.

My gran loved pacers, when she was very ill my mum gave her a pacer after taking the rapper off, but she still tried to peal it. Its one of the nicer memories I have.

Hands Mac66 his tea, with apologies for the wait. I had to pick the tea leaves and everything..

Well, if you've had to cycle a ton to go and pick tea leaves on my behalf, I am chastened.

Thanks for the tea, have one of my cakes. Oh wait a minute, where have they all gone?

I must not be feeling well, btw, just trying to place an on-line order with mr tesco and forgot what those chocolate small desserts are called - the ones made with shoe pastry and fresh cream and proper belgian chocolate.

What a shocking admission!

I saw Princess Anne this morning. She was visiting the Save the Children shop round the corner, and a small crowd had gathered as I came back from the hairdressers, so I stopped to watch her come out and get into her range rover.

She looked, as always, very cool and elegant. I on the other hand, probably looked like a beetroot, I don't cope well with heat...

oh, and talking to my sister on Monday, apparently Oli is very good at identifying trains and the like, but not so sure about farm animals. So, being actually qualified on this matter, I wrote him a letter, and included pics of the skeletons of cow and sheep. (and some of trains I'd found called Oliver).

My sister texted to say I am silly! I think I am quite sane...

Taking the biscuit
I've been so full of head cold I've slept most of the day, my only day off too.
It won't have helped that I've been out in the sun for most of the week.
Still running with the snots and hacking up phlegm, not pretty.

Medicinal tea please.

Passes tea to Tdr1nka with broom handle.

A tissue?
Slides a large box of man-size tissues as well.

Arch - have you seen the film Beatrix Potter? She sent pictures to her nieces and nephews of fluffy bunnies, naughty kitties, and hedgehogs doing the laundry. Approx one hundred years later, I expect the modern equivalent would be trains and skeletons. Sounds eminently sensible to me.

I am continuing my search for uses for single shoes.

Splodgey spots are diminishing slightly. Fortunately they are not on the skin exposed to the sun, when wearing shorts and t shirt. I sat outside today from about 5 ish to 7 ish, when it was coolish.
