Welcome! Pull up a chair, put your feet up.

I'm glad your little one is including the 'pease' bit, very polite. My nephew, when prompted to thank anyone, says 'Ta!'.

oh! I'm so sorry, I forgot to reply:blush:. It is a an excellent tee-shirt! I might wander past and see if they have it. Although I have a wardrobe packed full of teeshirts already. And I bought a dress on Sunday, in a charity shop. Yes, me, a dress! It was partly to please my mother. Mind you, I only spent £6. Moments later she spent £49 on a pair of shoes for herself....

Evenin' Each.

Finally home after a day in the rain with Hilldodger and his antique bikes.
Did the last Cycle Club before the end of term at one of our two schools today, the year six kids will be at Senior School when we go back. It's quite sad saying goodbye to them.

AND I had a jerk in a Fiat try to overtake me on a mini roundabout on the way home who had to lock his brakes to avoid hitting me from behind, tw*t. Grrr. I gave him a right earful, and no mistake.

Tea please, calming tea at that, but none of that perfumed gnat's wee please.

Roadra is gone.

The local bike thieves wouldn't have got thru the lock and only they would be stoopid enough to ride the bike locally.
You do get this from time to time as I have friends who had bikes stolen from their garden recently and saw one of the bikes being ridden the very next day.

I hate this town.

More tea pls.

Tomorrow I intend to test my inner calm by riding from Sarf London to Harringey in the morning, towing a trailer with Clarty Hack.

Clarty Hack is running well although I have only seven gears potholes are less of an issue now but sloooooooooooooooooooooooooow is not the word.

Right! I'm off to bathe the rain soaked, grumpy and restless cadaver I laughingly call my being.

At some point in the day the seat post had slipped down and I rode Clarty Hack for at least five miles before I noticed.
At that moment I realised I wasn't still riding a child size penny farthing as I had been on and off during the day.
I thought I could conqour Roger's Penny Farthing by starting small and working my way up, believing the principles to be the same.

I may be spending too much time around bicycles?
I need to stay in more.

I have also now drunk so much tea I fear I might just as well spend the rest of the evening reading on the loo but then the bulb has gone and I haven't replaced it.

*bangs head off desk*

I'm quite sure you could ride a penny. Riding it isn't the issue, it's the getting on and off, and you're plenty athletic enough for that.

Just dropped by to see my friend on her craft stall, one of my knitted sheep has sold!

And I've had an idea for finger puppet sets - Bo Peep, sheep and a sheep dog...

Right, I'll put the kettle on.... Shovelfull of biscuits, anyone?

EVENING ALL! *echoes round the empty tearoom*

Where is everyone?

I haven't been out on the bike for nearly a week and really must make the effort if I'm going to keep up with Arch on our maiden sportive in a few weeks. We'll be well and truly earning our tea and cake xx(.

Oh, I like that, two maidens on our maiden sportive....

I decided to helmet cam my commute this morning, with the result that I arrived knackered - you always feel the need to ride at full whack...

Time to get the office kettle on, I think, tea all round?
