Original I think... modern "living flame" fire in it at the moment though.

Any Tea? on't go?;)

Keep the fireplace. if it's original; it's increasingly rare, especially with the tiles. Too many of those gems have been ripped out. To buy a replacement run of tiles in some suitable Victorian pattern, you're looking at over £80 and if I may say so, the run on the fireplace in your photo looks delightful.

Well the dishes are in the dishwasher. The bread ingredients are in the breadmaker... the eggs are collected. The laundry is in the washing machine. The Offspring is shovelling piles of earth in the garden. Time for a cuppa!

Time for a fresh pot while I take a break from packing for my holiday.

I'm sure I spotted Spandex cycling down the A19 away from York on Sunday, near Shipton. I saw a massive pair of legs push a road bike along, and when I checked my mirror and he looked like Spandax. I couldn't tell for sure though.

Good job I was in the car (collecting the bacon from my pig) or I'd never have caught him.

Tea? anybody. I have some Fox's biskits somewhere as well.

A massive pair of legs, yes, that sounds like Spandex....

When you say collecting the bacon from your pig, are you carving it off in vivo so to speak, and doesn't the pig mind?

I just forked out for a train ticket to go and see Oli in October. And then got a text offering me some work, which will help pay for it! Hoorah.

Alas, my supervisor has remembered I exist and suggested a catch up meeting on progress....

I asked the rest of the pig that was in my freezer at home, and it didn't raise any objections. :bravo:

I picked most of it up a couple of months ago, but the bacon takes longer.

I bought a pig from this place, and got lots of updates on how it was growing up. Now we're eating it. It's very nice.

hurrah.. got home and all the tiles are in the right place and grouted.. looks very nice. Dougie was very apologetic for throwing waste water over the flowers... "Didn't think" he said.. so all the fitting should be done by thursday ready for the tiled floor to go down...

*sips tea whilst admiring nice new clean tiling*

Evening! Can someone choose some tiles for my kitchen for me. The new units have been fitted but I just can't decide on the tiles.
