Morning! I must have got out of the right side of bed or something today because I flew into work this morning, smashing my personal best. I nearly averaged 15mph. And it wasn't even tea fuelled! I think I'll need a cuppa soon.

I've had a day on the bins today, we had a particularly good womble. I've got a big French English dictionary (well, we found that last week, but I ran out of pannier space), a copy of Empire of the Sun, and a lovely old tin that once contained "Glucodin - muscle food, for treating lassicitude and weakness" - I'm going to use it as a money box. My boss has a brand new office chair (it was left out by the bins, nothing wrong with it, we hope it was rubbish...) and three nice big pasta bowls. So I've come up to campus to log on, and decide what to have for tea.

I can't think, which means it'll be something with pasta. Maybe in tomatoes. maybe just in pesto. I didn't get anything out of the freezer to defrost, so I may end up back on the tinned tuna.

I think I would like a cold drink, it is very warm out on the patio, enjoying the late afternoon sun.

For some strange reason, and it only happens about once a year, I think I will have fish and chips for supper.

Shitty day. The freezer err... froze. So I'm in the process of removing a glacier from the kitchen of Chez Wafflycat. Swarming bees. Loads of wasps... feline vomiting. Heat & humidity due to having to keep doors & windows closed.

Maybe you could combine the glacier and the wasps and freeze the wasps?

There are lots of bees in the garden, and they are very sensible bees in that they prefer to bee out doors. I think I prefer a mouse indoors to a wasp, provided I know where the mouse is. (mouse is - that does not sound right - mice is - no um ....)
