There are lots of bees in the garden, and they are very sensible bees in that they prefer to bee out doors. I think I prefer a mouse indoors to a wasp, provided I know where the mouse is. (mouse is - that does not sound right - mice is - no um ....)

It should be near your PC...

Where's this meteor shower then?

I'm off to the garden with my binocs.

*stomps back in to look for binocs.;)*

*kettle still not boiled.*

Saw some pretty good meteors last night here in Southern France

Apparently, tonight is the best night to see them.

Tea Up!

Apparently the meteors are more visible further north.
If the cloud cover clears tonight I might take a spin out to some higher ground with less light pollution.;)

When these showers happen I'm always in mind of 'Day Of The Triffids'.;)

Yeah, I should make the effort to look out tonight, they are forecasting clear skies...

Any tea on the go?

And has anyone seen my tumbleweed, I think I left it here yesterday....

What to do, what to do?

Ok, so the good lady and I are off to Margate for a few days and we're taking the tandem!

All good so far!

The problem is the gears.
We've only had four of the 2x5 speed to date and I have finally got around to looking at the bike this afternoon, I also have only until 21:00hr TONIGHT to get it sorted before we go tomorrow night and I'm working all day tomorrow.

I have to take out the cable to thread it back thru a replacement indexing down shifter that I believe will help the problems I've been getting.

It is a very long cable, and I don't have a spare.

Now, do I start trying to re route the cable and prey I don't fray the end leaving it impossible to thread back thru the casings or do I just go to Margate with four gears. Hmmmmmmmmmm...........

More tea make brain work.

Can you seal the end a bit with a blob of wax or something (shred of masking tape?), to lessen the fraying risk?

Or, how hilly is Margate?
