I am a bad, bad woman. ;):evil::biggrin::evil::biggrin:

Mr WC was standing outside, holding up a large timber joist - to be used in the making of Ye Shedde..

I couldn't resist...

*Me with loud voice, Hyacinth Bucket-stylee*

"Why darling! You've got wood! I've never seen you with one so big and so upright! How are you managing to hold on to it with only one hand?"

For some reason which I cannot fathom, MrWC blushed

I'm surprised he didn't drop it.

Speaking of tea.

Why is it some people have absolutely no concept of what makes a nice cuppa?

I called in on a potential customer today and when asked if I wanted a cup I said yes right away. I was left horror struck at how he made the tea and was not surprised when it tasted like the drippings off an old dishcloth.

Kettle on, kettle boiled, wait a min yapping, hot (not by now boiling) water into cup, tea bag into water, followed straight away by milk, teabag whipped out after no more than 20 seconds after a perfunctory squeeze with spoon, offered said concoction with the offer of some cold from the tap if it is too hot.:sad::biggrin::sad::biggrin::sad::sad::sad:

Stunned? I was speechless.

He said he doesn't really like tea. I can understand why not if that's how he makes it.;)

I'll have a cuppa if there's one going, but preferably not made by Colly's customerxx(.

That's great news about the tandem Tdr1nka.

You really need a teapot to make tea, how difficult is that? Otherwise all you get is colouring and bitter yucky taste.

I was in a cafe once, asked for tea, and found that the girl ;) obviously did not know that a pot of tea for two needs at least two tea bags!

It is ages since I had tea made with tea leaves. I know it's a real faff and all but it really does taste better.

At least my memory thinks it does.

I'm not sure my supermarket sells loose tea anymore. I suppose you could get it from the likes of Ringtons or some such.

Tea made with tea leaves & no faff... use a cafetiere. Works wonderfully. Leave to brew - press - glorious leaf-free, properly brewed tea at the ready

Of course - you have to have a cafetiere kept purely for tea. Do not use the same one that is used for making c*ff*e...

Well, you can also get Coke in a Tea Shop.

That seems wrong to me as well. I was hugely taken with a bar I saw in Porto a few years back. It mostly sold beer - cerveja in Portuguese. The bar was a Cervejaria.

I *like* the notion of a Beeraria!!!!

Similar to a Bier Garten no doubt!

Any way, Moff to bed, I have the challenge tomorrow, of a day with my mother, my brother and his wife. B);) Much tea will be needed by way of recovery! or something slightly stronger.
