I'm here! But heading home in a sec. I'm trying to work out what to do with the veg delivery I'm expecting today, nut roast and veggies for tea I think. And then I need to write up that mirror review for Pete and start my write-up of last week's trip.

Ah yes, deadline is approaching....

Let me help with that tea for Waffles....

I'm off now, anyway, time for dinner. Not feeling inspired, so it'll be something with tuna and pasta and anything else I can find in the fridge. There's a third of a courgette, I know.

I've just been reading Arallsops LEL account and feeling equally inspired and appallled....

Tea aids migraine recovery.

Watching the BBC One programme on the expidition in New Guinea. WC Mnr points to the screen and says, "It's her! It's batwoman!" Talk about small world. When WCMnr was doing A-levels, he took part in Operation Wallacea in Egypt. In the Sinai, his task was to go out with the bat expert to do a survey on bats in the area. Seems his batwoman on OpWall is the very same person on the BBC programme that's on right now.

Speaking of WCMnr. His new bike arrived today. Ordered it from mailorderbikes.com, using the CC discount code, which meant he's got a tad better than a BSO as a *basic* bike for university. Arrived when promised. Quality - ok. Only thing - you need to know how to put a bike together. Plus the back wheel is out of true. No problem if you know how to true a wheel, but if you're a complete beginner, a potential problem.

Did you see the very little parrots? They were cute. I liked the talk around the dinner table after they'd been looking at them: "You know that means, according to the laws of nature that somewhere in this forest is a very tiny pirate?" "oh yes, pieces of two, peices of two!"

(The parrots were the size of a man's thumb. I want one. Or two.)

Tea?

oh! oh! I have a Trangia! Gromit spotted one at the car boot sale on Saturday, for £15. Minus a kettle, but I can get one separately.

The parrots were cute. I liked the giant stick insect too.

Just off to put the kettle on. Can I get anyone anything? I need a strong brew as I've got some minutes to write up. So tedious.

Less tedious than hours though, but more so than seconds....
