I was beginning to wonder where everyone was.

Purrhaps the "secret" of success in this dieting thingy is to purrsevere! ^_^
I managed to avoid the late night munchies last night. All choccies have been eaten. No biskits in the house. Now I just need some accurate scales! Then a

Friend of mine thought she'd lost 3lbs, went to WW'ers and she's put 5lbs on
Oh how I laughed
Made the mistake of weighing in at work on the last day (19th Dec) with a colleague.
1st night back tonight so will see officially what the damage is  I'm not expecting it to be good news

A friend of mine who is very knowledgeable on nutrition is alledgedly very dubious about the accuracy of WW scales. They might possibley make you think you are heavier than you are, to allow more time for their marketing ploys to work. Their "diet" is flawed because of their selling alledgedly "low cal" foods, that are full of additives and sweeteners.

My friend reckons, for instance, that it is better to have full fat yoghurt rather than fat-free (aka taste-free) yoghurt as the full-fat one is more satisfying. Full-fat yoghurt might still be "only" 8 or 10 per cent fat.

Please note that I have sought full legal advisement before posting the above! ;)

Once you get back to your cycle commute, you might find you lose four or five pounds fairly quickly.
Please do not be dis-couraged. You have got a whole year in which to achieve your target, not just a week!

:hello: I gave into my midnight munchies and ate the last two mince pies and finished off the pringles. :mrpig:

Getting ready to nom my way through a bowl of pheasant stew for lunch, then the bike and I are going out to get reacquainted. Doesn't matter what time I go, I can guarantee it will rain as soon as I leave the house.

Is it windy down in bumpkin land Jo?

I should just clarify that the sugarless tea was unintentional as I forgot to put any in and couldn't be bothered going the 10yrds back to the kitchen
