I once made the mistake of getting some lemony bath stuff (or it may have been shower gel).
It put me off lemon meringue pie for weeks. Which I found hard to forgive it for.

I was once sent a bottle of chocolate scented bubble bath in a mail order of household stuff. It replaced something useful that they didn't have in stock!

That'd be one way to get Jo to take a bath when it's not her birthday

Mornings. We've had our first proper frost of the winter. Leading today's group ride should be fun. Guess we''ll take it slow - shame Potsy's not a local, he'd be able to come out with us and keep up

I always avoid going into town on a Saturday. Thursday is a much quieter day. There is a very sharp frost here today. I will be staying indoors.

I am not looking forward to it at all, spent the week trying to get someone else to lead for different reasons. Definitely leaving the road bike at home and tempted to wear old clothes instead of my cycling kit, on the grounds that they'll be no great loss if I hit the deck and wreck them.

I will probably venture out later but I will be on the hybrid, I think a road bike today would be an accident waiting to happen.

colinj and co are doing a ride out of Hebdon Bridge today, there is no way I would want to venture that high into the hills. But who knows it may warm up later.

When I was out yesterday it got to about 2:30 and the temp dropped suddenly it was quite strange so I guessed it would be cold today.

Oh yes reminds me of a funny thing.

Yesterday I was cycling home and I decided I would go up a track I havent been up in a long time. The track goes through a sort of wood, so I go round the corner and it goes up a sharp hill so off I go out of the seat then I needed to change to the small ring on the front and the buggger dumped the chain. So there I am stood up on the pedals still clipped in thinking then TIMBER over I go into the bushes
