Back from a sunny 40 miles, though did a Josie Dew and layered up to leave, layered down on the ride and then had to layer up again. There was far too much interest in my bib shorts (thankfully over a base layer) from the guys .

Managed to get first in line at the queue at the coffee shop so finished my cake and coffee long before the others. While I waited, I stretched out in my chair and had me a little snooze in the sun (did I mention it's really :sun: here? So much so that we sat outside :becool:). Alas, a photo was taken :ninja:

Can I get anyone a :cuppa:?

:cuppa: Lovely, thanks.
I've just had a huge bit of lemon cheese cake, it was a bit bigger then it looked in the patisserie and was like a large block of cheese with a slice of lemon on top. That took some eating:hungry: but I was up to the task.

I also have a fruit tart for pudding later, it seems to have all of my five a day, and some, on it!^_^

Large block of cheese....

I've spent the afternoon cutting up coloured plastic bottles for a potential craft/arts project. And I managed to wield a Stanley Knife without cutting a finger off.

:cuppa: anyone?

I have acquired some burgundy for dinner
I may have some coq au vin as blotting paper...
And tomorrow sees a somewhat lumpy 30-miler to get some breakfast :mrpig: :hungry:

I got quite the wrong mental image from the expression 'roasting a friend'

I suppose my second thought of 'fava beans and a fine Chianti' isn't much of an improvement...
