My GP, a couple of weeks ago, suggested I change my migraine meds from night to morning. After doing the transition phase for a couple of days I completely forgot to take the dose in the morning for a few days running.
I slept better, I have been getting up earlier in the morning, I have been feeling more refreshed and alive, I can think more clearly and my feet don't hurt noticably when walking.
I haven't taken any more of the meds and I have only had one mild headache stopped by a dose of paracetamol and an hour or so asleep.

Hmmm, can I have my job back please?^_^

If you are in less pain when walking, and therefore do more walking, that will probably help. Of course, I mean gentle walking, not climbing Skiddaw ridge before elevenses. ;)

I am on a very low dose of medication that my GP "insists" I keep taking. It should be every day, but I am now taking it every other day. Similar to you, I forgot one day. Might drop down to every three days. I think with some of these meds, it can be a vicious circle with the side-effects they create. I ended up in a dreadful state when taking some of the meds prescribed for back pain. I hope you continue to feel better, NT. As we get warmer weather and longer daylight hours, you might continue to improve.

This sort of braid. It can be expensive bought by the metre. Sometimes large quantities come up cheaply on Ebay.

Cheers Speicher, While I am feeling better I will take full advantage of it.
I am back at the GP's end of the week so I will mention it and see what he says. I did do some research into the meds and it seems like it is used as a last resort option when other meds haven't worked. I haven't had any other meds offered previously though.

Hey, Arch! That Brompton of yours - you need to sell it, and get one of these instead.
It's not just an A-Bike copy. Oh deary me no.
It's an A-Bike copy WITH AN ELECTRIC MOTOR!!!
Yes indeedy. The bike that was unrideable at a headlong walk (that being all you could get it to do with the ridiculously low gear) will now do 13 mph!!! Honestly, it's so good. I'm going to get two...

Please note that this item is a fun sporting device and is not approved for heavy traffic areas. Suitable for persons up to 85kg.
Well, that's me out on weight alone!
I wonder what counts as a heavy traffic area? A park on a Sunday afternoon? A lorry park? The lobby of an office?
