Today was the official restart of healthy eating 2012 at chez Baggy. M'envious. Will have to make do with this delicious uncrumbly hot chocolate.

Cold ride home tonight, not helped by having to get off and retrieve my rear light after it bounced off the panier and went skating down the middle of the road
Fortunately the 4 cars that came round the corner all missed it

Lovely and here too but mighty . Think a quick trip Lidl might be in order, see if they've got any skiing gloves left. It's going to be a very chilly cycle home from the pub tonight.

I bought a pair of Aldi ski gloves. Nice and warm but no grip on the bike.

Last time the temperatures dipped to freezing or below, my hands were so cold I couldn't change gear, which made the ride even more interesting.

Agreed, warm but very cumbersome.
I now use my normal Aldi winter gloves with a pair of merino glove liners, works so so, still gets a bit nippy in minus temperatures
