Altura somethingorothers and 'normal' gloves underneath them. It works fine til it drops to 2 degrees and then my hands stop working, which is why I was thinking of skiing mittens to go over the top. Ah well, I'll be back in town tomorrow following a group ride to THE NEW TEA SHOP IN MY VILLAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so assuming my digits are still capable of opening my wallet, I'll have a mooch round Sports Direct before giving in and buying Proper Gloves.

Plax recently alerted me to the existance of Fruit Salad flavour mini-Battenbergs.
They've got a sort-of pineappley marzipan. Surprisingly good...

I ate a box of those the other day, one of two that were in the cupboard thanks to the shopping fairy! They are very very sugary sweet, even more then the usual sort of battenberg.

All I need now is to invent a Sherbet Lemon French Fancy. Or a Jaffa Cake flavour Arctic Roll.
Actually....would an Ice Cream Battenburg work?
I'm thinking like strawberry and vanilla ice cream, covered in an almondy sponge. Like an Arctic Roll but square.
