Slow start here too, only up because the dog wouldn't stop pestering me. The has finally stopped, giving it a bit longer for the last of the clouds to blow over before walking into the village. Today's my day off the diet so chocolate will definitely be on the shopping list. And pizza.

I suppose one can have maple syrup on bacon, it works quite well. But I'm not sure about chocolate sauce....

Maple syrup on bacon is all of Teh Wrongness IMHO.
Pancakes and bacon = good
Pancakes and maple syrup = good too
Pancakes + bacon + maple syrup = BAD.
