I'm making belts out of old bike tyres....

There are 5 holes at the rivet/buckle end, we did them earlier, and put in the buckles and rivets. Then each belt gets 17 holes for adjustment...

(Why 17? Well, NT made up a little stencil to mark them with, of 5 holes spaced an inch apart. Overlap it 4 times, and you get 17 holes)

It's hard work for my little weedy hands, using the hand punch. One day, I hope to have a nice big lever operated bench punch.

Puncture protected tyres are, unsurprisingly, the hardest!

St Nicks are having a stall at an eco-market on Wednesday, so I'm hoping to sell some of my stuff there...

To be fair, he's already made me several labour saving devices and suggestions to make life easier, and helped a lot with production.

Not to mention, been hugely encouraging of my little ambitions.

Ok, soppy stuff over.

I better get to bed soon, I'm at work tomorrow and having Friday off instead this week.
