Jo's off to bed early? ... I did warn her about taking a bath before the end of the month :headshake:
Well, I have just had a shower while Jo's not around to comment on my feet!

I have been planning, this weekend, how I might be able to make the dies for a multi hole punch and have also been searching on Ebay for a flypress or hydraulic press. Might have to make one of those too.

I'll dig some tyres out and post them Archwards. I take it the beads are unnecessary? Darn sight easier to post them if the beads have been chopped out.
Are Brommie tyres any use? I have two I've worn out.
They might only be suitable for skinny persons, and I'm not sure there are any on CC...

Beads are indeed unnecessary, but sidewalls can be useful. Slicker or medium treads are better than really chunky MTBs, but we're working on using even chunky ones with judicious trimming.

Brommie tyres are perfectly suitable, since the circumference is about 50" and I normally cut my belts at 48" plus the overlap at the buckle end.

In fact I recently made a Brommie belt to commission, for a colleague - he supplied the tyre, I made holes in it!

I don't do chunky MTB. Fattest tyres I use are about 28mm, with a light tread.
If I supply some tyres, can I have one back as a belt? PM me with a price, if you would.

Brommie tyres make good belts, little waste and good width. Also the sidewalls sometimes have 'Brompton' written on them. Schwalbe Marathons are great, I have one of my own, the Marathon plus is more complex but interesting.

'Being Human' (BBC3) was rather good tonight!^_^

My issue is, I don't have a little waist. Far from it!!
I am channelling my inner fat bastard. My story and I'm sticking to it.
Seriously, I'm about 12 kg heavier than when I met you in Nottingham.
