I have got an interview with the RHS on the 17th April. ^_^
Good luck Gromit!:highfive:

I have been busy today.

Set up the scaffold tower at the corner of the house and then a neighbour came over and helped me with some of the work. I fitted a new soffit board where the Starlings had been getting in and then moved the scaffold along a bit as I now want to finish the soffits along the whole wall. I will carry on tomorrow maybe.

In the process of moving the scaffold I took the opportunity to remove the redundant flood light. It broke off easily enough but then I forgot to actually disconnect it from the flex before I moved the scaffold. That's what stopping for a :cuppa: does!^_^
I will have to get it with a ladder next time.

Makes me glad live in a bungalow I did mine on a step ladder.

Oh my goodness, that looks high! :surrender:

I mean, of course, I've seen your house, but somehow the scaffolding looks higher!

I've just made 4 more bag linings out of a couple of umbrellas. The Green Market today sold some of my stuff.

Two keyrings....

Never mind, that's £2.50 for me. Every little helps.

Well, it would if I hadn't spent then 70p on a cup of tea, and £1 on a steak bake for dinner...

:cuppa:?

Is that all? Two keyrings?
Oh well, its a start I guess.

Maybe bring some bags, belts and jewellery over tomorrow, my neighbour, while we were on the scaffold tower, said his wife might be interested in 'that sort if thing'.

Arch :giggle: I hope you are not suggesting :giggle: that :giggle: Night Train tells tall stories. :giggle:
Surely that should be storeys.;)

It is one of the downsides of a big house, other people only have to buy a double extension ladder if they are serious about their DIY, I have to have 40' of scaffold tower. I also have a 20' tower, and a 10' tower for interior work, and a large stack of conventional scaffold tubes and clips. When doing roof work I have to abseil off the ridge at the back as there is no way of economically scaffolding it all.

:cuppa: ?

I'll see what I can pack! I need to photograph some more belts, in daylight preferably.

It wasn't a good event for selling stuff today, mostly just info, and the Green Stalls were tucked away at the back of the market, where there's not much passing trade.

I have greater hopes of the Open Studio event at St Nicks in a couple of weeks. I'm going to be a proper craftsperson there!
