I dunno, but I can hear faint snoring. I think maybe Speicher has fallen asleep, somewhat bizarrely, in the cupboard. I'm surprised the womble hasn't woken her....
Just a quick foray into Tea tonight, off to craft night, the last before Xmas, so we have food - I'm taking cookies....
LOL! I got home from work today to no less than two postcards from Dayvo!
One from Norway, the other from Australia!
What were the chances of them arriving in the same delivery?:
Today was our last session of the year so apart from a day at the office on Wednesday I'm on Christmas Hols from now till February!
Craft night? I am trying to think how to make a very cheap card holder. Saw a lovely one in the Oxfam shop, sort of bronze colour with curved metal branches, about 12 of them at different heights, but it was in the window, and already sold.
With my recycling head on (aka Worzel Gummidge) now trying to make one using a kitchen paper inner tube cardboard thingy and some cable ties wotsits. It needs a sturdy base, tho'.
On Thursday I have been invited to the party at the Resource Exchange, might pick up the relevant parts then, plus some paints etc.
Tea. Needed. Cathode is dead (see other thread) and I've just wrapped her poor body in newspaper and then into a bag, into the bin. And undignified send-off, the approved way of doing it. Both Vernon & Nathan offered to deal with Cathode's disposal for me, but she was my girl, so I had to do it. From an entirely selfish POV, I'm glad that when I found her she was gone as opposed to being in agony and me having to disptach her. I know the theory of a swift dispatch and I am very glad I have not had to put that into practise.
