Busy night last night. Mum is stocking the boiler buy filling up on liquids. She is deffinatly not ready to go yet, despite what the medics say. Feel they are trying to kick her out of the world when she isn't ready.

It is a difficult call. The medics probably see this all the time and make the decision impersonally. You would want your Mum to go on forever. Your Mum is doing what feels right for her.
If your Mum is still wanting to take fluids then she probably doesn't feel ready to move on. Supporting her in doing that may not help her last much longer overall but will help her feel more comfortable.

Also think I'm going to wimp out of tonight's pub ride. I got drenched walking the dog just now and the thought of going back out in it is not appealing. Especially as I bought sausages from the butcher's...
