Mornings! Soothing a morning dehydration headache with a nice cuppa (no booze the night before even) and getting ready to take the dog down the allotment to plant garlic cloves (not him, me - he watches).

Mornin's Each!

I've a day of wrapping, washing clothes and packing ahead.
Tommorrow is the last day before we go away but I've got a purchase plan for the charity to finalise for the trustees and the insurance company to agree, then I collect Miss t and get her to a sleep over while the Good Lady & I go to Brixton to see PiL, so no time for Xmas readying tomorrow.

The days are fun packed!

Yesterday I wrapped all my presents, casseroled a pheasant, stewed some red cabbage and knitted most of a panda. Leaving me with Nothing To Do today, except knit the rest of the pair and sew them up. Oh and go out in the vain hope that the market stall of wooden toys I was sure would be on everyday has turned up today, to get the stocking filler I promised my Mum I would get on her behalf. Honestly, he's always there, but been missing for two weekends running now. Bah.

Just had a great fry up - bacon, egg, beans and potato cakes made with yesterday's leftover mash.

On the other hand, I have a slightly random area of condensation behind my framed poster of Whistlejacket, leading to rivulets of moisture appearing from behind it and running down the wall. Looks like some kind of possession going on.... And off course, I've hung my Christmas cards up there too, so to get to it will be a faff.

Blimey, tea goes cold quickly in this weather....

So does cheese on toast.

I actually bothered to warm a plate last night for dinner, but then I'd had the immersion on so there was hot water in the sink.

The ice has cleared from the inside of the windows sooner than yesterday anyway.

Tea please, I have ear ache, pain in neck , headache, generally feel wishy washy, might go back to bed.:smile:

Good idea, take this tea with you. Would you like a hot water bottle?

Today was a busy day. As a result, daytime eats were at a *minimum* and I had a shedload of food I needed to eat this evening in order to have the required amount. So I had a deliciously large chili & rice. YUM!

Sounds good. I did something similar. Lots of tikka and rice after a day in the hills. Walking up a 45 degree slope in thigh deep snow tends to drain the energy reserves.
