I had a sit in the Ratrike earlier and did a bit of backwards pedaling while wearing the boot, just to see if it would work. I then had a look at the Emmille and wondered about setting that up with the trainer to get some attempt at riding in.

That might help, I guess, just to exercise the ankle if nothing else.

You could set it up so that you can see the telly, and try and beat the track cyclists.

(or the rowing coaches!^_^ )

Also what's happened to your tractor? Have you fixed the rear diff?

Don't encourage him! He'll be bending mild steel with his bare hands standing on one foot, if you're not careful!

I'd quite like him not any more broken for a while!;)

I welded the diff for the time being just before I did my tendon so in theory, though I have yet to drive it, it should be useable mostly in a straight line.
I am planning on getting a replacement axle, from a Land Rover, and narrowing it to fit. That should be strong enough but there are aftermarket parts to make it stronger....
The axle will driven via a Lada Niva 4x4 Transfer box, which is ample for around 200+bhp apparently and is relatively tiny.

This sounds like a project for the winter.....I love the photos so please do post them when you start to fix the axle

(Sorry Arch, hope this can't be construed as incitement)
You should book mark these then.
Don't worry, you can always nip over to MassDebates and post in the 'Tea' thread over there. They won't know what has hit them:ohmy:
Looks like they might not be hit by a large quantity of very sticky jam doughnuts.

I have stuff to bake a cake this afternoon. :hungry:

I went to my first physio appointment just before lunch. I have some stretching exercises to do. Can't get away from wearing the boot though.

:cuppa:
Was that the same physio you mentioned earlier in another thread??
