If I really went away on holiday, my Mother is sure to have some sort of problem. In recent weeks, I have had to persuade my brothers to give her more support, emotionally and practically. I am very drained from helping her, and need a quiet week at home.

It gets trickier when you also need to take things like dog food. Of course, this summer being what it is, I'm having to pack for all seasons. Especially as we're heading way up north (it's even above Birmingham!) so I'm bound to need thermals and a woolly hat.

Dog hasn't let me out of her sight since I got The Bag out of the wardrobe. Even if she wasn't coming, she'd be coming.
