Hi Marafi!

Just standard tea for me please (currently Sainsburys Red Label, it depends which brand is on offer).

I think I'll have a little lie down too, for an hour or so.

I decided I was drinking too much coffee, so I bought some Twinings Afternoon tea. It is not very strong, so I will try the Breakfast tea next. :cuppa:

I would like Tasha and Leo to decide whose tea they are eating. Tasha decided not to eat hers or Leo's. Nor would she eat Leo's when I put some of them in her dish. By mistake  I then put some of Tasha's biskits in Leo's dish, and she decided she did like them after all. Then Leo saw Tasha eating where he normally has his dish ..... then the argument started. :boxing:

I should explain that they eat different complete cat food, cos Tasha needs to lose some weight, and Leo is on biskits for Seniors.

I hope you are feeling better, Arch, :hugs::smooch:

well done NT :hugs: ... what's on the cards next?
I have just put on a pair of boots, for the first time in over 13 weeks, and very gingerly walked over to my neighbour's house with a cake in one hand and a crutch in the other. A distance of probably 100m done very carefully. My left leg feels very odd walking and I can really feel the pull on the calf muscle.

Can't wait for more physio exercises.:training:

Up and coming jobs:
Fit a temporary bath in my current bathroom so that I can remove the cast iron bath and take it up one floor to the new bathroom.
Demolish a light box in the loft and repair the roof (removing the bit of glass in the slates) before building a blockwork wall to divide off the party wall to keep the neighbours out.
Shorten and fit a Land Rover axle to the back of the tractor rebuilding the whole rear end and transmission system in the process.
:cuppa: :heat:
Install the bath in the top floor bathroom and then put in the plumbing for the rest of the room.
Dry line and internally insulate the bathroom and install a Velux window over the basin.
Think about getting back on the bike and in the car again.
:cuppa::heat:
:thanks:

I have a question about recycling that Arch may be able to answer. I have vastly more "silver foil" plates, containers etc than I know what to do with. Some of them, have lost their shininess, and look sort of browny black, rather than shiney silvery. Can these still be recycled? I presume the metal is ok, just that the shine has gone off them, after they have been in the dishwasher.

Yes, should be fine, it's just tarnish I think. I find foil goes like that if I boil it (IE when wrapped round a haggis).

Mmmm. Haggis.:hungry:

If they've been in the dishwater, I'd assume it's hot water doing it.

I don't blame you...

I'm going to try and have an early night I think. I still need to pack a bag for the weekend too, although that's not a very arduous task.

Night all! :hello:

I have just been offered a Transit rear axle for my tractor, free! I am accepting it as it will have a lower ratio diff and allow me to look at having twin rear wheels!

I think I am going to have to 'monster truck' my little tractor!^_^
