Afternoon all! Just back from a 30 miler. Almost exactly, I was determined to do at least 30 but ended up dragging my heels a bit after 20....
Was wondering how my back would do. Answer...
Ok while I'm going along, but as soon as I need to stop and straighten up, it twinges. Which makes junctions interesting. I tried a little bit of wiggling an stretching as I rode, not sure it helped, but might have entertained any following drivers.
Really dragged myself the last 3 miles, but it was into a headwind, and I'd only had a couple of slices of toast for breakfast, and a cereal bar, so I might have been bonking a bit.
I think Mercury enjoyed himself however, apart from an intermittantly rubbing brake bloke (need to true the wheel!), he went very nicely.
