I can confirm that the coffee and walnut cake is indeed excellent. What is not so excellent is my ability to post some of it to you via the inteanet.

 It was a purchased cake. But, in mitigation, it was baked by a person who used to bake for the Women's Institute market thingy, but now some people sell cakes etc on a Saturday morning in the Town Hall. ;)

They also bake an excellent date and walnut cake, Caraway seed cake, etc. Their chocolate cake is not so hot, as it were, but then proper cooking chocolate is expensive.

Back from watching "The Book Of Eli"

It's a good job Denzel is glorious eye candy, as the film is a pile of preachy poo. There's some good visuals and some humour (Michael Gambon & Frances de la Tour steal the film IMO), but it was generally very preachy for post-apocalyptic sci-fi/fantasy stuff. Sort of like Mad Max meets Canticle For Leibowitz meets Monty Python & The Holy Grail (but not as funny).
