It was so :rain:here last night, that I found a very large frog, or toad, sheltering from the rain by my front door. His, or her, body was about three inches in length, excluding the leg and head. I do not think any of my neighbours have a pond.

Much as I like frogs, I was not tempted to invite it into the house out of the rain.

We don't invite them in but they somehow manage to find their way in, cute things.

It's lovely here in Manchester. NT and I just sat out in the front garden, fiddling with each other's nipples...

as he swapped rims to make me some much lighter wheels for my trailer.^_^
I'm just making :cuppa: to take down to the workshop...
Even on 16" wheels swapping from steel to aluminium rims saved half a pound of weight each side.

It was nice just sitting in the sun fettling bike bits while watching the car dry out.

Arch is on her way home now.

I am going to have to get some aluminium brazing rods. Glue isn't working on Arch's trailer.

Arch is on her way home now.

But the good news (for me at least), is that the train from Piccadilly is formed of a massive 6 carriages, so there's tonnes of space, and I'm not standing all the way like used to happen sometimes when I still had to go home on a Sunday. (I've had to swap shifts this week, so I'm working tomorrow, but I get Friday off, so we return to a 3 day weekend).

We're going a different route to normal too, just went through Rochdale station.

So, was that cracking noise the glue?

I beleive this helps.:cuppa:?
How cold is it there? We usually cope with the cool weather here with warm clothes and hot drinks to taste.

Ah but Nihal normally only wears a sari.... Or something like that....

I always used to feel sorry for the Indian ladies in Leicester, in saris, in the midst of a Midland winter. The portion of bare midriff never seemed to be compensated for, even when they wore a knitted cardigan...:cold:

For NT, coz it's his burpday. Sorry's a bit rubbish but the train pitched up as I was on the footpath and I didn't have a lot of time to think about it.

Were you waving your red flannel petticoats at it?

Right, I've had half the half of pie, and half of each bit of cheese.

I don't think the rest is going to survive the night. Well, or the next ten minutes....
