Arch if you wanted some good trousers, in the sale, do you have a Craghoppers shop near you?

Arch - there's a Craghoppers shop out at the Designer Outlet but that would mean a trek out of town for you.

Speicher's rummaging under the bed has reminded me that my mum gave me a bag of wool of mine she found at home. I'm the worst knitter in the world (can't stop dropping stitches) so you're welcome to it Arch if you can make use of it. Wool doesn't go off does it? It's probably 20 years old:blush:.

Oh cool! It's not that far, on the bike, I've been out a few times to look for cheap shoes. Forgot/never realised there was a Craghopper out there.
In fact I could do most of it on the York-Selby bike path, and turn onto the path alongside the Naburn Road, to go in the back entrance. Less trafficky than the Fulford Road.

You're welcome! The back entrance is definitely quicker as well as less trafficky. I took a posse of Amsterdame ladies that way in June.

It's unlikely to have gone off, unless it got moths. Well, if you don't want it, there's always room for more wool in my life, cheers! We must arrange to meet soon. We haven't managed to get a January Yorks Posse ride in, but the weather hasn't really helped, has it?

The lastest magazine I bought (I don't get knitting mags regularly, just on a whim) has a stripy cardigan pattern in it, designed to use up odds and ends (or 'stashbuster' as they call it). I thought I might give it a try...

The magazine also came with a free set of bamboo bag handles, so I'm going to use the chunky wool I bought today to make a bag to use them. probably not one of the patterns in the mag, I'm going to try and work out something of my own...

To quote Waffles:

I'd forgotten, of course, you know the Outlet well!

Yes, we are definitely overdue for a ride. We'll have to round everyone up.

I'll drop the wool round sometime if we don't get a ride organised.

Me

Haven't been around for a while as I haven't been cycling. However I went out the bike today for the first time since the 5th of December. Quite pleased with how it went.

How are you?

Well if you are sure you can stick around long enough to drink it.:smile:

I am OK but not cycling - it's a very long story. I am sure there are other people on here who do not cycle lots and lots, says I diplomaticaly.

I enjoy hearing about everyone else's cycling. It seems we have about ten peeps from Worcestershire on the forum. I can foresee an informal get-together later in the year. I will drive the Broom Wagon.

*blows steam off top*

Should take a wee while to drink

I can just imagine you in a Belleville Rendezvous style broom wagon administering to exhausted cyclists!
