Talking of driving, that's me off out, doing the pressie run up the M1 to Loughborough to the in-laws. Terrible it is, when I turn up there I have to make my own :cuppa: and they never offer biccies. You'd have thought they'd be grateful that I took their youngest daughter off their hands :rolleyes:

Never mind the knees, what's this about 5' deep mince pies?
Are knees allowed to join? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabian_Society :unsure:

Sorry - would have made a 5 foot pie but I didn't have either a dish or an oven big enough :sad: . But it got me thinking. I got the Muffin tray out and used a pint mug to cut the rings of pastry. The pies are ready now. I just need to test a few first :hungry: I'll have to remove any I think are sub standard.

Dive in everyone. :biggrin:

OH has been busy in the kitchen, loads of warm mince pies, fantastic hot sausage rolls and jam tarts, if I am not careful I may put on weight!
Need more tea to swill it all down. (-;

How many substandard ones did you find, and how many others did you test? :whistle:
