I'm just trying to light the fire for the hog-roast... anyone got any matches? ...the wood's a bit soggy.

I've heard you suffer with soggy wood. Here, I'll just grab a can of petrol, that should get things going.

Blimey I have only just got out of bed.
Still in bed

Horrible dream last night - I was in the Army and we were at war and they'd gathered up all the dogs who had bitten someone and made me pick one to send in as a suicide bomber. I really shouldn't read/participate in argumentative threads on t'internet at silly o'clock in the morning before going to sleep.

:cuppa:?

I agreed with your posts on that thread, Jo, but did not put a "like" against them, as I was not participating in the argument discussion. My cats may look like fluffy harmless creatures, but they are both very strong, and if they were frightened or hurt, they could easily inflict some nasty damage.

Looking back at photos from my early childhood, it's easy to see that the dogs were my playmates but the cat ruled the roost - there's one of me standing up with my arms folded while the cat lounges on the chair. I assume we'd already had the "I'm the boss and don't you forget it" conversation.
