Its a bit windy out. I started climbing up to the top of the moors to go over to Otley and the wind hit so hard I very nearly got blown off 
and I could see the rain marching over towards me, so I headed back to harrogate down the A59. I got up to 24mph on a slight down hill and stopped pedaling and the tail wind got me up to 39.1mph 
so I did the rest of the ride around Harrogate and Knaresborough as it was less windy in town and I managed 29.89 miles not bad for the first day of the year.
