@TVC......I do the washing in our household. I think you should offer to help Lullabelle out, she's been working hard all week -

I installed it, that's my job done ^_^

I cook, Lou does the washing. That particular division of labour works very well.

Is that the Archers, Arch?

Are you any relation? (sorry, I guess you've been asked that a million times before )

Back in the 60's my Dad was a travelling engineer, and one lunchtime called into a pub he often used, for a spot of lunch. The landlord greeted him as Mr Archer, and the landlords elderly mother on law who was staying, over heard and asked for Dad's autograph! He never knew which one she thought he was.

In a strange twist of fate, Mum's maiden name was Grundy....

Rocky, I take it you London types are all completely cut off from civilisation by the snow again this morning.

I'll be just round the corner from the Neasden Temple at the back of the McVities plant. We have our sister company there, I've got a couple of days work, starting tomorrow, learning a new winding method to bring more work to Leicester. I'll be heading off early in the morning to get past Staples Corner before 8.00am.

If it gets busy, divert via Paperclip Lane and the Novelty Eraser Gyratory System.

 (but I'm not going to say what I find funny - Potsy's post or Jo's reply, as I might incriminate myself)
I think you already have

You listen to Joe Grundy and tell me there isn't some southern bumpkin in there

Back from a quick walk to Tesco, the main road is packed with cars, god knows where they are all going at this time on a Sunday morning, within 200 yards I'd seen 2 drivers veer across the lane without looking, cue horns blaring, boomin' motorists

:cuppa: and brekky time.

Just to hark back to the whole watch thing from yesterday...
Wol, what you want is a set of jewellers screwdrivers, and a pack of assorted watch batteries. Both these things can be had in Poundland

In other news - what is going on with all the ruddy snow?
My bike ride has been scuppered, and I didn't even fancy the drive to Hemel to try out the ski slope over there what has real snow on, even though it's inside.
I may have to brave the elephants elements and go to buy coal. :cold:
