I have a confession to make.
Elsewhere on this forum, there is talk of peeps not buying coffee* in Starbucks. I confess to not knowing the location of my nearest Starbucks, and never having been in a Starbucks.
* I am using the word "coffee" under advisement.
I've never been in one eitherI looked on their website, and the nearest Starbucks is nearly an hour away by car. Not going to Starbucks is going to be very easy then.![]()
And once in Basle. Basle is the sort of place that restaurants that are open in the evenings, are veeeerrrryyyy expensive. I now know that all the food stalls at the station may have been open. But from the Swiss side of the station everything looked closed. I could have popped over to France for my evening meal. There may have been a third occasion in Dusseldorf, circa 1992, I can see a pattern emerging here.
It was, Kendal I think@Potsy, was that photo taken it the Lake District?
