Thanks, don't mind if I do!
*scrompf*

It's been cold here today. I missed a hail shower this morning by seconds. I'd just made it through the door and it was chucking ice cubes down by the time I'd got the kettle on.

Morning all.

Tea?

Puts kettle on.

Excited, most of the rest of the bits for my new bike have arrived.

Woo hoo! Now, you just have to put them together, preferably in the right order....

Clear blue sky here, but some snow settled overnight...

Yes, I must get my chain and cranks on the right side of the bike (or is it the left?)

There was snow here overnight. Not much, but enough to make the roads interesting.

I was passed by a gritting lorry just as I arrived at work. What use is that?!

I also have good news: my custom Moulton rack is now painted and on its way back from Argos to me. The rest of the bike is built up and ready to go. Only problem is, it's so clean! It looks like Fossy's bike. And now I'd like to keep it that way, which means I can't ride it until the weather and roads clean up a bit... which might be about August.

Aaarrgghh.

Canterbury has had so much snow overnight and this morning that I took the decision to work from home  However, the downside to this is that since 8am I"ve drunk around 5 cups of tea.

Oh, did someone mention the kettle was boiling. Excuse me...

Ah, can you bung another cuppa my way please!

That is the trouble with 'working' at home, that and the sudden importance of polishing the draining board, or dusting the knick knacks....

...catching up on my own correspondence... and, at the moment, watching my neighbour clearing his driverway of snow, even though it's still snowing. Retired people do the strangest things...!
