I once won a prize. Not a big prize admittedly but still. I was travelling across Canada by train (from Toronto to Vancouver) and we arrived at the foothills of Rocky of the Rockies. While I was in the Observation car, (aka coach) they started talking about the height in feet of the mountains. There was a French couple sat near me, and I could see their confusion trying to work out the height in metres. In order to help them I started working it out, and then the Train Guide person asked if anyone knew the height in metres. Cue me raising my hand timidly, and saying wot I had worked out. I must admit to being surprised at being so close to the true answer. x thousand feet, divide by 3, but that is in yards, so take off another ten per cent.

I still have the Canadian Railways badge.

A kilogram is 2.2 pounds and a stone is 14 pounds. Divide 14 by 2.2 = 6 and um... a tiddly bit.

6 x 2.2 = 13.2

14 minus 13.2 = 0.8
6 into 0.8 = 0.13
so it is 6.13 kilos to a stone.

I have book within reach entitled "Chambers's Technical Dictionary" , the 1953 edition. It includes the definition of diplochlamydeous chimaera, but I do not understand the answer.
