I have some very bad news about the bread and butter pudding that I made this afternoon.........

there is none left! Warburtons thick toastie bread crusts make excellent bready butter pudding.

Last time we used brioche buns and a Gary Rhodes recipe vanilla custard, very rich but delicious

They were very very small muffins in too much packaging.

Many years ago my folks used to buy some cakes that were a little bigger but sold loose in a sealed 'tupperware' tub. The good thing was no waste packaging on the cakes and the 'tupperware' tubs are still in use for storage.

Yeah, mini was a clue, but these were micro!

I was out cleaning my bike at 8am! Six hours later and it's once again covered in mud and crud. I very nearly at the first puddle we went through.

Now recovering with while I decide whether to have scrambled or boiled eggs for lunch...

I got reawoken by an incoming text from Slower Than A Sluggish Sloth, which was fine because I asked him for his number. We plan to walk to a hilltop cafe for lunch next week.

I have used hot cross buns, panettone (very good) and brioche.
Not all in the same B&BP, obviously, that would be madness. And probably blasphemy too.
