Foul day out there.
Took my raceblades off yesterday and forgot to put them back on this morning.
I just got nicely soaked on the way home just now.
It keeps trying to snow but just ends up as cold stinging rain.

Sorry to hear about the test tt.
I can drive and have done many times on my provvy, never had the need or the finances to get the test tho.
One less car and all that.

Bad luck with the test tt. Sounds like a nightmare. My sister had to do a real emergency stop on her test, when the doors of the van in front popped open and boxes fell out!

Really tired today for some reason, we all were at work. Now trying to decide what to have for dinner, and trying not to fall back on 'something on spaghetti', which I have far too often. Maybe a curry, but I'm not in a curry mood.

Bit late replying to this...

I had stuff on spaghetti... again. This was tuna and vegetables in cheese sauce type stuff.

I'm going to start some sort of campaign, it's a national disgrace. My sister texted this morning to say she had a headache due to 2 days without tea or coffee, thanks to the NHS. Do they not allow a woman a cup of tea? (she said thank god for the little bar of chocolate I sent her with her birthday present, she had it for breakfast!) Max is, according to my Mum, gorgeous, and already a genius and apparently trying to talk - well, not crying, but making little chuntering noises instead. He's smaller than Oli (but born 3 weeks younger anyway), and has delicate hands and long fingers, so it sounds like he's got a good dose of Archer genes, no wonder he's talkative.

Day off today, waiting in for loft insulation people. Supposed to come 'AM', so that'll be mid afternoon then. Still, I have book reviews to write.

Tea?

Last night I had a duck stir-fry. YUM. Strips of lean duck breast meat with a ginger & soy dressing, with onions, leeks, carrots, courgettes & green beans. YUM.

Breakfast was the usual porridge topped with fruit (sliced pear) and a bucket of tea.

tea please.....

Bit of a better nights sleep last night. We decided to put Henry in his own room rather then in with us and it seemed to work. I think we are consciously awake when he was in with us and could hear every little noise that he makes keeping us awake. Now he is in his own room he can gurgle/lipsmack/belch/shuffle/whimper to his little hearts content. He soon let's us know when it's feeding time.

I sincerely hope so, unfortunately in my experience, medical staff tend to err on the side of caution when it comes to general anaesthetics wearing off, and I'm always gasping by the time it arrives.
