You must be sleep deprived! Especially if it took you that long to spot that Tdr1nka.
Ah Ian - sounds like Henry is a little terror with the waking up- hope it improves

I'm in need of tea too.

Just come back from my driving test, I took it with the examiner who amongst the instructors is known as a sadist and a pedant and very few pass under him.

My turn in the road was done on a upwards incline and narrow road. The reverse around the corner was on another incline, he got me to stop in the road on the lefthand side several time on very bust stretches of road and on two occasions waited for a car to tailgate me first. Got me to do an emergency stop on a street filled with parked cars.

The real gem was after all that stress and crap and driving well despite it, he asked me to go ahead at the roundabout, put myself in the left lane, coming up to what looked like straight ahead I asked him if that was the exit he wanted me to take, didn't reply, asked him again,no answer and then he got irritable and said well go right and drive around again, last minute so no indicator and obviously in the wrong lane. Failed on this.

One thing that he was fair was that I didn't steer enough to pass a car and came in too close.

Don't have the funds to rebook and do more lessons but that was really unpleasant.

Nah.. he's not a terror.. he only wakes up 2 or 3 times a night but it put's you all out of kilter if you know what I mean... he doesn't cry bless him, more of a 'I want feeding' whimper..

Bad luck about your driving test.. that sounded awful.

I think that is one of the reasons I never drove or passed my test due to the teacher I had was a complete twat... put me off driving for good... had about 6 or 7 lessons when I was 18 and haven't driven since.

Ah bless him, sounds quite sweet! Yeah not getting a full night of sleep if you're used to them can really take it's toll.

Nevermind, not a lot you can do with someone like that on some misplaced powertrip. Just an awful waste of money which I can't recoup now, and hoping the driving doesn't decline too much in the meantime while I wait until I can afford it again. Though I can't fault my instructor who teaches me, he's good, he's got the same sense of humour as me which helps things!:biggrin:
