I'm an auntie! Again!




Max was born at 11.37am today, a week before his planned entrance, weighing in at 6lbs 8oz (although size isn't so noticable when you're having a C-section, I guess). Apparently he looks just like Oli. I've seen a pic, but I won't post it here, to spare my sister's blushes... Anyway, he's not looking at the camera.
Oli was on his way to visit with Daddy after nursery about an hour ago, sis reckons he'll ignore Max, and be more interested in the coal mine he's getting.
My mother is hotfooting it down the A34 as I type, I'll have to wait a month before my planned visit.
Rice paper, Helen - have you tried Lakeland? Or is there a cake decorating shop near you? If not, there's the one in Lendal, opposite the main post office in York.
My dad used to make coconut macaroons (or pyramids, they were called in the recipe), he shaped them in an eggcup.
