Blimey mate.. it's been like Piccadilly Circus this weekend. Yesterday a couple of neighbours and a good mate and his 2 kids. Today - My wifes brother (who has come over from Sweden to see Henry) along with his girlfriend, MIL and Great Uncle came along also. They left at 1.00pm (I got back from the Bromley Massive at 12.30), Then at 3pm my brother, his wife, daughter, son and his girlfriend visited, so it was a bit like pass the parcel with Henry today which caused him to get a little fractious, so had to take him up stairs for a bit of peace and quiet. He's taking a well earned rest right now....

edit: Oh yes, he is a daddy's boy... seems to be me that is able to calm him.

He has my sympathy. Being held by all sorts of strangers, some of whom may have forgotten, or never known, how to hold very young babies securely, must be very traumatic. Not surprised he got fractious.

hmm, two shortbread biscuits and a cuppa tea (with about 16 sugars) for breakfast.

And you wonder how I keep this figure

Goood morning all. First time in the tea thread! Wafflycat you persuaded me

Hurrah!

Did the uni cycle ride happen or get called off due to weather?

Nah, she was wrapped up well enough and we missed the worst of the rain, she was fine while we waited at HPC but got cold while we hung about and couldn't get warm again.

She was treated like a brave Princess on our return home and appears to be none the worse for wear apart from a few asides on how she wants to be a fair weather cyclist.;)

I did try and get her to do chicken arms with me at HPC to keep her warm but I think she thought I was mad, mad, mad!
Hope it hasn't put her off too much!

Ningles!!!

I hassa day off work today:biggrin: I was planning on going skiing at Hemel, but I don't fancy driving 30 miles in the snow to get there.
There's a moral there, but I'm not sure what it is. I'll have a brew and ponder it.

I bought a copy of this on holiday last week. Any requests?

I fancy trying my hand at crumpets, but really don't think I need a recipe for cheese and pickle sandwiches:wacko:. My fellow tea threaders will be pleased to know there are several pages dedicated to the history and art of tea-making.
