I hope you are progressing with the machine sewing adventure. Owing to circumstances beyond my control, I have asked the lady in the dry cleaners 'down below' to repair: one new jacket - shoulder zip parted company etc, a pair of 'new' DHB longs with lousy 'ankle' zips (Who else has this problem with their stuff - I know steve vw does), another pair where the pad stitching has come loose - simple repair but I'm feeling lazy, and a wash out of blood and road gunk from the canary coloured soft shell jacket. Cost. £47.95
"longers - making short work of your cycling repairs" call for details!

Definitely better today.
A "small" incision (looks flnkin' huge!) then they put some mesh in to fix and reinforce the hole in the abdominal muscle wall. The muscle grows around the mesh and ends up stronger than when it started.
I've got a recuperation timetable. Driving and "gentle sexual intercourse" feature in week 2, but cycling only appears in week 4! Yeah, right!
