GWS Landslide.

I'm drinking tea and waiting for a lift instead of riding to Morecambe in the rain.
I feel like a wimp but am not really too bothered

The forecast is rubbish for today, worse for the return leg and I've convinced myself the rest will do me good.

Tea?

Are you going to take a photo of Eric, longers?

I hope you are progressing with the machine sewing adventure. Owing to circumstances beyond my control, I have asked the lady in the dry cleaners 'down below' to repair: one new jacket - shoulder zip parted company etc, a pair of 'new' DHB longs with lousy 'ankle' zips (Who else has this problem with their stuff - I know steve vw does), another pair where the pad stitching has come loose - simple repair but I'm feeling lazy, and a wash out of blood and road gunk from the canary coloured soft shell jacket. Cost. £47.95

"longers - making short work of your cycling repairs" call for details!

That was after a solo night ride, one of the best rides ever. Yet.

I'm not up to taking in any work yet. Been faffing on here too much to get any good at it
I've made a hot water bottle cover and a pincushion though

Hows the teeth 'teef?

Definitely better today.

A "small" incision (looks flnkin' huge!) then they put some mesh in to fix and reinforce the hole in the abdominal muscle wall. The muscle grows around the mesh and ends up stronger than when it started.

I've got a recuperation timetable. Driving and "gentle sexual intercourse" feature in week 2, but cycling only appears in week 4! Yeah, right!

My stitshes - actually, I'll leave that spelling mistake - it sounds better, came out yesterday and the bad news was that I will probably retain my old looks, Dom...but thank you for asking.
Other good news is that two further copies of arallsop's tome-ette have been delivered, following the two delivered last week and immediately donated by absent-minded me to Sainsburys Camden 'Secret Santa comes to your basket' exercise...

Landers falls in love with his bike to advance 'matters' to week 2...
Get well son. Another mistake! "Get well soon" is what I meaned.
