Coffee thread out there -----> somewhere MrM.. but do stay and have a cup of the civilised beverage that is tea

Hens fed & watered. I am thinking of getting another two to join my small, select flock. What names for new girls?

Xenon and Record?
Coppi and Pantani?
Sturmey and Archer?
Ordinary and Safety?

Or, on another theme entirely, Jadzia and Seven?

I might get confused a lot, thinking Waffles was talking about me...

Jalfrezi and Korma?

Or on an egg theme, Scrambled and Benedict. I know Benedict is a boy's name, but I like it.

I'm being posh tonight, and having Cassoulet for dinner. Well, it's a couple of sausages cooked in a tin of mixed beans in tomato sause, from Morrisons.

One of those obstacle course things, like they use for dogs.

Grand or Upright? Or is it Horses Pianos for Courses?

Baby grand, we couldn't afford to feed a full-sized one!

Easier to teach too as they aren't old enough to have ingrained all the bad habits of a fully grown grand. Hope the training goes well and you get a medal at the piano show in Earl's Court (after Crufts) - they reuse the doggy obstacle course I believe. One of these days the Beeb will televise it.

Mornings!

Up and at 'em!

Kettle's on. I'm on my second mug of tea this morning. Have defrosted MrWC's motor for him as he's off down to the outskirts of the hell that is London today to business HQ for a two-day exam-sitting fest.. whilst he puts his bits & bobs together to set off. It is very frosty out there this morning. I do not envy him the journey today.

Once I've downed this mug of tea I'll sort out the hens. The cats are already sorted.

Then I'll have my brekkie of porridge topped with today's choice of fruit: blueberries.

Afternoons!!!

I don't envy MrWaffles driving to That London. Fortunately I'm near enough that if I have to go I can do it by train in about half an Earth hour.
Pretty much every time I've been lately has been to meet up with young Trinka anyhow

I'm just back from getting a couple of posh birds.

I now have one of these
