Whadja see?

This evening I have been drinking something else containing tannin.
My grape juice has fermented again

Went to see 'Clash Of The Titans' a rip-roaring re-make of the classic Ray Harryhausen monster epic. Only this one was CGI and not stop-motion model animations. Not Oscar-winning stuff, but that's not the point of such films. On the plus side, the new one has Sam Worthington in the lead and he is delicious eye-candy.

Oi - has someone been fiddling with my mug  Bang goes that experiment. I'll have to restart. That's a month's work down the plughole

Ah nice brew.

Well yesterday I went for a nice bike ride but felt a bit under par. I was completely done in yesterday evening and today I've been taking it very slowly. Slight bug or just too much pedalling - I don't know which.

* replays video for the umpteenth time *

Oooh THAT is very funny

I bought some Rooibos tea on Saturday, it's very nice without milk and makes a delicious refreshing late-night caffeine free drink. It has an interesting tarry flavour.

Arch, before you go, did you notice that it took you a half hour to identify who lives at 23 Railway Terraces?:wacko:

Excuse me! Point of Order!

I knew straight away when I read the post. Any intervening time will have been while I was reading other stuff on the forum... I checked the precise address later, when doubt was raised about it.

Now we've got THAT sorted out...

England, France, Belgium*, Luxembourg*, Germany, Netherlands*, France, England.

This is the list of countries I've been in since Friday. Those marked * I didn't see, due to being driven through them entirely at night while asleep in my bunk. I was aware of Luxembourg, since due to roadworks the bus was diverted along a twisty road, and I woke up and thought it seemed a bit unlike a motorway.

I was on a cross-channel ferry at 4am today, and got back to the flat at 6pm, having driven back from the coach depot in Suffolk via Westcountry Recumbents in Derbyshire.

I like Germany. I like Belheimer pils, and Bratwurst and pommes, and white asparagus and drinking a Radler by the Rhine. And the drivers who stop to let you across the exit of a roundabout when you're crossing on the bike path, although it confused me terribly!

And so many shiny bikes, and trikes and stuff. Way more interesting than any British show.

Now, I better think about some dinner...

I offer much apologies, Arch.

The reference to the half hour was not to highlight any possible tardiness on your behalf. It was with regard to the (relevant, imo) fact that a certain resident of Railway Terraces, had a programme with the name "Hancock's Half Hour".:sad:

Please have a biskit.

I tried to stop them, but they tricked me by asking me to go and make sure the lightbulb was still ok.

I feel soiled, dirty and used .....People pay good money for that in London I hear!!
