I'm now continuing with some Malt Loaf and Dandelion & Burdock.

I had a pint out, with Bikepete and Gromit, and Chop, who drives a tourbus and was in town for a gig.

Then I came home and cooked a slightly pissed chilli con carne.

Now, I must go to bed.

Mornings peeps!

The hens are up and about, fed and watered. Same for the felines. The hanging baskets are watered, the tender veggies looking good after a mild night. More potting of beans to do today.

You play snooker with beans? Don't they roll rather unpredictably, or is that part of the fun?

Tea?

As well as having a fox as my avatar, I now have a fox who likes my garden, Fortunately he decided that Tasha was not a worthy adversary. I have been told that cats and foxes do not fight, but with a large jaw full of sharp teeth (on the fox) I am not so sure. Which one has the greater acceleration?

Tea? Why yes, dear Arch, you'd be better off sticking to that today - I think some of your recent alcohol consumption is still in your bloodstream :biggrin:

Hmm... depends on the fox & on the cat AFAIU, as to whether there'll be any fighting. personally I'd not be happy having foxes so close.

Let's hope Renard has lots of territory to roam around. He (or she) has been espied walking down the street. My back garden backs onto an enormous field, usually of wheat, but occasionnallly as this year, oil seed rape.

Although I used to suffer with hayfever, I can walk along the farm track through that field without any problems.

I used to, actually.

But it's a level spoonful (as opposed to a loving one) now!

Yep Dayvo. I just knew. I have noticed in recent times that it's less sugar in T now. Folks must be calorie conscience (at least with their T if not all the other stuff they force down their necks).

Managed a pedal in the warm today and despite lingering bug symptoms I seem to have survived. Also planted up some of the indoor crops today. Toms (4 varieties), Melons, Cukes, Aubergines and Physalis. Capsicums haven't germinated for some reason and I'm waiting for second Cuke sowing to appear.

Telly time
