page 2 indeed! Denizens of the Tea? thread are allowing standards to slip! This is not good enough. I think we should give ourselves a darn good thrashing...

I have been busy doing other things, like er talking about this town being a transition town, discussing being part of a satellite office for Age Uk, how difficult it is to move foxgloves, talking to some St John's ambulance staff (don't panic - they were twiddling their thumbs on standby at the time), also discussed how to make fluffy scones, and most important of all, eating some fresh, hot, covered in cinnamon sugar

Well, that's it all over until September.

Had my last exam today and it was a toughie.

I was annoyed with myself with the way I answered one question. I was speaking to one of my friends who also answered that question and she mentioned something that should've been in my answer but I forgot.


Let's see what happens.

Many apologies to Cookiemonster - "eating" doughnuts was a mistake, it should have been in the past tense, as in "have been eaten".

Walnut and Co**ee cake is available tho. It was left over from the Church Hall teas and cakes, and someone was very insistent that I take it, as it could not be frozen.

Evening! I treated myself to a pint of fresh milk yesterday and made my first cuppa on the camp stove of the trip this morning. It did the trick as I flew the 20 miles I had to do today, unlike yesterday when my average was about 7mph...

Cats & hens fed & watered. Dolce is in the middle of laying an egg. I'm off to the physio later for more work on my knees. And it's my wedding anniversary: 21 years.

Congrats Waffles and Mr Waffles. BTW - how can it be your 21st? Were you a child bride? Have a nice fresh brew and the last of my homemade flapjack. Hope the knees are getting better.

Bit slow here this morning. BBQ last night and quite a few helpings of that strong grape juice was quaffed. Just as well it's raining outside - I can have a "lie in".

Oooops - Err - hmmmmph - Link? Also I'm not yet digital in the photo department. Keep meaning to get a camera but never get around to it.

It wasn't a proper BBQ. It was a GBQ as my BBQ cooker is dead so we cooked under the Grill. Then ate outside.
